Come Follow Me: Helaman 1-6

I have a couple of ideas to share with you for Helamen 1-6.  I was busy with family last week and have been trying to catch up on everything since we've been back. Sorry I am just now getting this to you.  Hopefully it will be helpful.  These ideas are perfect for families or primary classes.  I always try to follow topics from the Come Follow Me primary manual.  In additional to the ideas in the download we are also going to use one of the ideas in the manual and build foundation out of a mixture of hard and soft supplies then use our wood blocks to build a house and compare the different foundations. In the download you will find journal pages, song helps, mini books, and our wise man and foolish man experiment.  I hope you have a great rest of the week and enjoy learning the gospel with your little ones :)  See you in a couple of days with next week's lesson helps!

Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: Alma 43-52

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Mine turned surprisingly busy and I am jumping on really quick to get next week's free printable lesson helps for Come Follow Me.  We are covering Alma 43-52.  I was a little worried about hitting the war chapters but I loved spending time in these chapters this week.  We are going to to talk about spiritual armor, the Title of Liberty, and Captain Moroni. I try to stick with the themes from the primary manual and these activities are perfect for families or primary.  I hope you find something that works for you:)

Come Follow Me lesson Helps: Alma 39-42

Hello and thank you for stopping by :)  I am excited to share these fun and free Come Follow Me lesson helps that are perfect for families and primary.  We are covering Alma 39-42 and will be discussing being an example, how repentance brings happiness, and a little about the Plan of Salvation.  You will find the free download at the end of this post and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Here's a look at what's included this week:

Song dice that adds a new element of fun to the song "Do as I'm doing."  This is perfect for kids that do not want to think of their own action when they are the leader.

Come Follow Me: Free Lesson helps for Alma 36-38

Good morning!  I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.  This week I have some fun and free Come Follow Me lesson helps for Alma 36-38.  These are perfect for families and primary classes.  We are going to talk about doing "the small & Simple things" and how the scriptures can help us in our daily lives.  Here's what's included:

This game goes along with the story about the pioneers and the crickets. We will be helping the seagulls catch the crickets as we learn about doing the small and simple things help us as we encounter new situations or trials in our life.  A lot of fun and perfect to tie in pioneer day with this week's lesson.

Some cute puppets to help you tell the story.

Scripture and journal/coloring page. I plan to ask the question, discuss and read the scripture, then let them write the answer and color the picture.

A cute mini book with space to write or draw what we learn from these scripture stories.  There are blank pages included so they can write about their favorite stories, write their favorite scripture, or even how the scriptures have helped them in their lives.

I also have this fun FHE on my blog that goes perfect with this week's theme and the suggested talk from the Individual and Family manual.
