Free Come Follow Me ideas for 1 Kings 17-19

Okay the weeks are just flying by! Today I have some fun ideas to help you teach all about Elijah and strengthening our faith. We have some cute story cards, a mini coloring book, a craft, and even some props to help you act out the story.  If you are doing this at home there is an option to add cloud dough...have you tried it before or would you try it? Free Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: 1 Samuel 8–10; 13; 15–18

This week for Come Follow Me we are covering 1 Samuel 8–10; 13; 15–18. We are talking about David & Goliath, David being chosen as the next king, and David and Jonathan. There are so many good lessons in these chapters such as faith, friendship, courage, and what it means to "looketh on the heart."  You can find all of these activities in free download below. June Holiday Calendar

 

I am sorry we are already half way through the month but hopefully you can still find some fun holidays to celebrate with your family this month. I am excited to do something for International Picnic Day, Strawberry Parfait day, and of course Father's Day. I love using these calendars in the summer and get my kids involved in the planning. We always keep it simple and the focus is on spending time together as a family. A quick example is building log cabins out of blocks or take a nature walk and let your kids take some pictures. Free Come Follow Me Lesson Helps: Ruth, Hannah, & Samuel

 Here are a few ideas for the stories of Ruth & Hannah. We are talking about the importance of helping and serving others as we learn more about Ruth. For Hannah we are focusing on prayer and what it means to have faith that Heavenly Father will hear and answer our prayers. Thanks for being patient with me as I took a little break.
