Dr. Seuss Rhyming Game

Dr. Seuss is the perfect time to work on rhymes.  This fun musical chair style game will get your kids up moving and rhyming.  Print the fun characters and tape them up around the room.

Print and cut out the circles.  I printed mine on different colors of paper for my little guy to work on colors.  Also the bright colors make the game more inviting!  I printed everything on cardstock and laminated so they would last.

Place the circles on the floor in a circle or scattered.  Play music and have the little ones dance around.  Pause the music and have everyone find a circle to stand on.  Take turns picking up the circle and find the matching rhyming character. Tape next to the character.

There are a few that do not rhyme.  These are placed on the fish bowl with the x.

Keep playing until all the circles are gone.
